Certified by the chiropractic examining boards of British Columbia, Ontario, New Zealand and the United States, Dr. Grimmett is a member in good standing of the Canadian Chiropractic Association, British Columbia Chiropractic Association and the British Columbia College of Chiropractors.
Dr. Grimmett's experience includes nineteen years of active practice, working in clinics throughout Canada and New Zealand. This has afforded him the opportunity to treat thousands of patients - including professional and Olympic athletes - while gaining a wealth of clinical experience. He is an instructor and provider of Active Release Technique® (ART). He is also the founding chiropractor of Mobile Chiro, the on-site chiropractic service for the greater Vancouver area.
Dr. Grimmett's approach to treatment focuses on the principle that optimal joint function is dependent on proper soft tissue function, and vice versa. Dr. Grimmett has found ART® to complement his chiropractic approach, especially for long standing or recurring problems where significant muscle or other soft tissue involvement is present. Emphasis is also placed on rehabilitative exercises to improve strength and flexibility.
Passionate about the practice of chiropractic, Dr. Grimmett is dedicated to diagnosing and treating the specific causes and symptoms of each patient's condition.
Dr. Grimmett is an avid badminton player taking the bronze medal in the men's over 40 singles at the 2005 World Master Games in Edmonton.
